Our very finest operation is located 4 miles south of Sylvester, Georgia deep in the heart of Dixie’s most famous plantation region. Distant travelers often fly into Jacksonville or Tallahassee Florida, Atlanta or nearby Albany, Georgia, whereas some fly their private planes into the local Sylvester, Georgia airport. When flying into public airports the closest would be Atlanta, but all are still reasonable driving distance.
What to Expect in the Field:
Tailored hunts have been conducted from a mule drawn wagon, however most hunters prefer jeep-powered specially designed 4-person buggies. Certainly Georgia’s towering pines provide finest open view for wing-shooting. Our outfitter’s highly experienced guides skillfully oversee safe and productive hunting, including the professional handling of our well-trained hunting dogs. There is NO distinguishable difference between how our outfitters birds fly from wild birds. Evidently keeping your head and gun barrel on a swivel is a must out here!
Amenities and Accommodations:
Depending upon scheduling, the luxurious 30,000 sq’ plantation complex accommodates up to 40 in our comfortably appointed bedrooms, each with en suite private bath. Nevertheless all hunts are custom arranged – (Morning and/or afternoon hunts can be offered). Enjoy hot full course Southern Style breakfast, lunch and dinners. Many of our clients enjoy pre-hunt shooting warm-ups with our clay target shooting range and even has outdoor lighting for night shooting.
