Introduction to Zimbabwe Safaris:
Zimbabwe safaris are one of Africa’s least expensive big game hunting destinations, offers over twenty different species. The most popular animals to hunt are: Buffalo, Leopard, Elephant, Hippo, Crocodile, Sable, Kudu, Eland, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Wildebeest, Reedbuck, Zebra, Warthog and so on. Lion hunting is conducted there, but productivity is not the highest for top trophy maned males. Take note that some select areas within Zimbabwe have large populations of Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Leopard and Lion, which consistently produce all of the Big Four in one area during a single Safari. Hunting in multiple areas using short durations usually produce inferior quality trophies. Trophy Elephant with ivory of 50-Ibs+ a side are consistently harvested from only a few select hunting areas.
